Hosts Northern KwaZulu-Natal Bodyboarding Association welcomed South Africa’s top bodyboarders to Richards Bay at the official opening ceremony and contest briefing of the Imperial Nissan Zululand SA Bodyboarding Champs being held at Alkantstrand this week.
Richards Bay’s Mark McCarthy is ready to take on all opposition and regain his SA Champ title when the Imperial Nissan Zululand SA Bodyboarding Championships kicks off on 5 October at Alkantstrand.
21 bodyboarders will represent uThungulu Surfriding at the 29th annual Imperial Nissan Zululand South African Bodyboarding Championships, running at Alkantstrand from 5 – 9 October 2015.
The Northern KwaZulu-Natal Bodyboarding Association, in partnership with local sponsors, media and local government will be proudly hosting the Imperial Nissan SA Bodyboarding Championships from 4-9 October at Alkantstrand, Richards Bay.
Richards Bay pro bodyboarder Mark McCarthy took top honours and the winners cheque of R20 000 at the Kumba Iron and Reef South Africa West Coast Classic held over the Easter Weekend.

The newly reformed Northern KZN Bodyboarding Association held their first of five trial events to choose a team for this years SA Champs on Sunday 22 February.
