King Cetshwayo Surfriders will be holding the Zululand Championships surfing competition on Saturday 20 May at Alkantstrand Beach, Richards Bay.
Entries are open to all ages and skill levels and local surfers are encouraged to come and enter and have some fun. There will be prizes and trophies to be won in age divisions of Open, Masters, Juniors and Grommets (beginners) and time allowing, a fun expression session.
The aim of the event is to promote surfing in the area, to get the local competitive scene going again and to send teams to SA Champs in 2024 to represent our local district.
Online registration is now open via the entry form below. Contest Entry Fee is R150 for Opens and Masters and R100 for Juniors. Note that entry is only available online until Friday afternoon 19 May at 17:00 so that the organisers can draw up heats before competition starts.
All registered surfers are required to be at Alkantstrand Beach at 7:00am on Saturday for a briefing for an 08:00am start.
